What I can help with
You might find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking, struggling with intrusive thoughts, or noticing the same patterns repeating in your relationships.

How I Work
My approach is relational and integrative, combining depth psychotherapy with practical ways of working with the difficulties you're facing. I'm interested in understanding you as a person, not just the symptoms you're experiencing, and exploring how your experiences and relationships have shaped the way you think, feel and relate to others.
I take an active role in our work together, bringing curiosity, offering my perspective and challenging you where appropriate. I want therapy to be a space where you feel understood, but also where we can question familiar patterns.
Understanding the whole picture
I believe therapy can involve both psychological depth and practical change. Sometimes it is important to take time to understand the deeper patterns behind what you're experiencing — bringing together the different pieces of your history, relationships, thoughts, feelings and behaviour to develop a clearer picture of what is happening and why.
My approach is relational and integrative, drawing on depth psychotherapy and my four-year core training in Transactional Analysis.
This is complemented by further training and clinical experience in areas including anxiety, OCD, intrusive and obsessive thinking, trauma and relationships.
Where appropriate, I also incorporate practical, evidence-based approaches such as ERP and ACT to help you make meaningful changes in the present.
I don't see these as competing approaches; understanding yourself and making meaningful change can be complementary parts of the same therapeutic process.
